The customized lion illustration for this project was a labor of love. The goal with any logo is to pare away the unnecessary parts, to simplify to the point that it's easily recognizable at a very small scale. Simple but memorable. You can see the progression of the lion in the sketches below.
This Brand Identity System included a custom logo system (logos in different orientations for different use cases), a style guide (Color recipes and complimenting fonts), apparel concepts, and the set-up of a fully usable Brand Kit in Canva for use by the school administration and teachers.
